Air Handling Units

An air handling unit (AHU) is a large box-shaped unit that's part of a building's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. AHUs are typically installed on the roof or outside wall of a building, and they circulate air throughout the building using ducts.

AHUs perform a number of functions, including:

• Ventilation: Managing the proper ventilation of the interior with outside air
• Air quality: Filtering and controlling the quality of the air that reaches the interior
• Temperature and humidity: Adjusting the temperature and humidity of the air
• Air movement: Circulating air throughout the building
• AHUs can be customized to meet the needs of individual buildings. They can be equipped with filters, humidifiers, and other devices to control temperature, humidity, air flow, and air cleanliness.
• AHUs are often used in medium to large industrial and commercial buildings, such as hotel dining halls, restaurants, conference centers, and manufacturing facilities.
